 Okay, but not great........
I would have liked the book to delve into his personal life more. It seemed to just skim the surface.Of course,it was written several years ago. He has certainly led an interesting life, but I was left wanting more.

Exceptionally Revealing
Baracks Dreams From My Father is most compelling. It takes you through his early years to adulthood...and throughout youre able to follow his thought processes and feelings. While his search for self identity and place are key areas of dicussion, there is also the realization that that identity is in context with all of humanity. The book is passionate, funny at times and reveals Baracks keen ability to analize, understand and reach reasonable conclusions...fair to all. His journey, while different from most journeys, is not uncommon to many, as you attempt to discover ones self and purpose in this world. Its a terrific page turner, candid and thoroughly enjoyable.
